How to Install & Activate Microsoft Project 2024 Standard Bind (Step-by-Step)

Follow the instructions below to activate and install Microsoft Project 2024 Standard Bind on your Windows PC.

Step 1 – Sign in to Your Microsoft Account

Go to the Microsoft sign-in page and log in with the Microsoft account where you want to activate Microsoft Project 2024 Standard Bind.

Tip: Use the same account later when installing and opening Project.

Step 2 – Enter Your Product Key

After signing in, enter the 25-character Project product key you received and click Next.

Once confirmed, the license will be linked to your Microsoft account.

Step 3 – Find Your Product in Services & Subscriptions

After the product key is redeemed, open your Microsoft account page and go to Services & subscriptions.

You will see your activated Microsoft Project 2024 Standard Bind listed there.

Step 4 – Download the Project Installer

In the Services & subscriptions section, locate Microsoft Project 2024 Standard Bind and click Install.

Click Install again next to your Project product to start the download.

Step 5 – Run the Installer

Locate the downloaded installation file and double-click it to start the installation.

Step 6 – Allow Changes

If Windows shows a security prompt, click Yes to allow Project to make changes to your device.

Step 7 – Wait for Installation to Complete

Please wait until the installation finishes. This may take a few minutes.

Step 8 – Finish Installation

When you see Getting Project ready for you, the setup is almost complete.

Once finished, click Close.
